Project overview

In collaboration with esteemed interior designer Rose Narmani, Qadash was commissioned to produce and install high-end bespoke joinery for a luxury apartment in Millbank, Westminster. The scope involved creating key furniture pieces for the lounge and bedroom, designed to integrate seamlessly into a vision of timeless, sophisticated living. This project showcases our ability to deliver exceptional craftsmanship for high-stakes residential and commercial hospitality interiors.

The design problem

The designer's brief was to create a serene, practical, and sophisticated interior with a primary focus on maximising storage without disrupting the apartment's clean, neutral aesthetic. The vision demanded custom-built cabinetry and wardrobes that felt integral to the architecture of the space. The challenge lay in executing these bespoke elements with absolute precision, incorporating luxury materials, and solving complex logistical issues within a multi-story residential building, skills directly transferable to demanding hotel and commercial projects.

The solution

Our team worked in close partnership with Rose Narmani to bring her design concept to life. In the lounge, we crafted a streamlined media cabinet and bookcases, meticulously matching a specific oak grain with a natural-look oiled finish to achieve a flawless, cohesive look. The centrepiece became a set of bespoke cabinets featuring doors intricately clad in a delicate silk mural wallpaper from Armani Casa. This required painstaking precision from our master craftsmen to ensure a perfect application, demonstrating our expertise in handling high-value, delicate materials. In the bedroom, we designed and fitted elegant dressing cabinetry that provided extensive storage while enhancing the room's tranquil atmosphere.

Beyond the workshop, the project demanded expert logistical planning. Our team successfully navigated the building's limited height access to deliver large, fully-formed joinery to the 4th floor, ensuring a smooth and efficient installation process.

The result is a testament to our collaborative approach and technical skill, delivering a flawless finish that fulfils the designer's vision for understated luxury. This ability to overcome logistical hurdles while delivering uncompromising quality makes Qadash a trusted partner for complex hospitality and commercial interior design projects.
